Thanks to all who have added their collections. It's fun to compare and see who has what. I am (slowly) getting the Lp, 45 RPM and 78 RPM albums added but it's taking a while because most of my records are over at my parents' home.
Does anyone here (aside from me) even collect the old 78 RPM albums???
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

Wow...I used to be kinda proud of my 100 or so collection. Now I'm just embarassed by how freaking small it is. Of course, I didn't count albums where I've bought one or two of the songs.
*le sigh* Oh, to have money.
Pretty lame, in retrospect. But it's growing!
