I was lucky enough to win The Cher Show digital lottery for last night’s performance (Sat 11/3)...was on Standby status at first, but after 3pm, got an email stating that I had won (apparently, if an original winner didn’t claim, they go to people on Standby). Seat wasn’t that great, unfortunately...B13 in the L Orch. It wasn’t marked Partial View but should have been. Fortunately, most of the action takes place center stage...a few entrances from Stage R were not visible and entrances from the back of the stage weren’t visible either. Enjoyed the show!
Have other people won? Heard they offer front row seats to lottery winners....anyone get a front row seat? And I think the lotteries for shows at the Neil Simon are the only ones hat put people on Standby status (same thing happened to me for Angels in America)...any other lotteries do that?

Harry Potter will sell unclaimed lottery tickets to other lottery entrants. That's why there is such a long period of time to notify winners.

You're right about Harry Potter...but if I recall, they don't send you an email right at the time of the lottery closing specifically stating that you are on STANDBY. I think there is a several hour span where they could notify you of winning. In fact, with TodayTix lotteries, I have been told that I didn't win, only to be called directly an hour or so later asking if I wanted an unclaimed lottery ticket.
The Cher Show Digital Lottery is a Broadway Direct Lottery and they give you a WIN/DIDN'T WIN (or in this case STANDBY) status right after the lottery closes. Like I said before, the only other lottery that I received a STANDBY status for was with Angels in America (also at the Neil Simon Theater).
Any word on where other lottery winners have been seated at The Cher Show?

It's the clue that it's partial view that they didn't already sell it to someone for full price?
I don't think I've ever had a lottery/rush ticket marked as PV. I think that is a courtesy that kicks in at a higher price tag.
I won for a Saturday matinee during previews, orchestra A 6.

While I've never had a lottery ticket marked partial view, I've gotten rush tickets that were. The ones that come to mind immediately are for Pretty Woman and Waitress

Has anyone gone recently via the lottery? And where were your seats.
Thanks!

I made it on to the standby list on 12/29 and exactly 2 hours later, I received a rejection notice

I won a few times in December --- the seats were always in the first 3-7 rows orchestra, far left or far right --- partial view, but you won't miss that much.

I saw the show yesterday, 2/13 at 2pm, Front row! It was amazing, I think the whole center front row was of lottery winners :)

I won in late May, the seats were center Orchestra. I believe Row O, but I’m not 100% sure. They were even on the aisle which was a pleasant surprise.
