Does anyone know if Chaka Khan, BeBe Winans and Elizabeth Withers have been signing autographs at the stage door? Also, I heard that you can buy Chaka's Funk This cd autographed at the concession stand. Can someone verify this and if so how much does it cost?

Okay, I can't guarantee any of this, but I know I've seen Withers leave the stage door only after evening performances, I would guess the same about Chaka and Bebe. But in the case of Fantasia, when it was drizzling she didn't come out that night. The best way to catch them it to sometimes go before they get to the theatre and wait for a bit. They're usually in a better mood then anyways, but for some reason Chaka strikes me as being a bitch anyways. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping to catch the show again within the next two weeks, I am just trying to justify the cost of about $350-$400 for a hotel, train ticket and a ticket to the show. I have already seen the show with the original Broadway cast. I am a huge Chaka fan having seen her several times in concert since the early 1980's. I am very disappointed that Elizabeth Withers is leaving the show this week. I really wanted to see her again.

I don't know who is replacing Elizabeth. I read on her myspace page that this Thursday is her last performance.

That's kind of weird considering that the show is ending so soon. I mean, she's been with the show for over two years now so her right to leave is justified, but you would think that she would've just extended for the final few weeks. But maybe it's a contract issue we don't know about. Either way, I appreciate her dedication to a phenomenal show.
