The Dancer's Life Stage Door Questions

I am taking my mother to see Chita Rivera tomorrow and we wanted to go to the stage door if the weather isn't too bad. I just have two questions:
1) Where exactly is it?
2) What is the crowd like?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

come out of the theatre, take a left and walk just past the doors. There will probably be barriades up already so it's tough to miss.

Extremely friendly, but sometimes takes up to an hour to come out.

I dont know how Chita is at The Dancer's Life, but she was INCREDIBLY sweet when I met her after Nine. She signed for everyone and stayed and talked with my friend and I in excess of a half an hour

She's very nice and signed, took pictures with anyone who wanted, and talked to everyone who was waiting.

i'm bringing my Bye Bye Birdie CD cover just in case he comes out as well. it would be amazing to get both Chita and Dick's signatures on the BBB CD insert!

Chita loves seeing stuff from her previous shows. I brought a 9 Playbill for her to sign and she was more than happy to do so. She spoke to me for a few minutes about her love for the cast and show.

i really hope chita sends back the pic i sent to her... she seems nice enough! has anyone ever got a signed pic from her thru the mail? sorry, im just jittery when it comes to these things... :P

ben, when i went to see the matinee of The Dancer's Life last saturday, Chita didn't come out, but the stage manager did bring our playbills up for her to sign.

Thanks Phantom so much. I live in DC and the only way I ake it up to NYC is on one day bus trips, so a matinee is really my only option but thanks a million!
