The guys, no matter how talented and unique each one is, show scarce, if any competition. At the end of the day, no matter who gets the lead, they're all buddies.

But we girls are vicious, coniving b!tches. Really we are. I know girls who will be all sweet to each other and behind each other's back go "Oh my God she's such a freakin b!tch, I hope she doesn't get Rosemary. She totally doesn't deserve it. She doesn't even deserve Smitty. Or Hedi. Or ANYTHING."

When in reality, if they work together, it would be AMAZING because all of them are incredible. Like drop dead amazing.

SO to make my point, I ask if it's just me or is it really that the girls are more egotistic?

You speak in sweeping generalizations, young Sally. I've no doubt you've run across a few "female dogs" in your day, but to say, "They're all" this, or "They're all" that... is not realistic. Keep an open mind, and don't pre-judge.

...Okay, and watch your back, too.

I shouldn't say this because I never know who's reading, but I'll just say in the last show I was in, we had a double cast, and one of the girls who played the lead female character, on the nights when her double went on and she was in the ensemble would constantly be found backstage in the green room watching on the monitor and criticizing the other girls performance to no end and often complaining how her own talent was so wasted being in the ensemble... I just don't have much respect for people who think that way... I never have seen such an incident occur with the guys, but I'm certain it could go both ways... of course, not everyone is like that and some people will genuinely support all their fellow cast members no matter what, but then you never know for sure who those people are ... do you? I can say I've come across this before. The past two shows I have been in I have been really close with my alternates and understudies, but girls in the cast were ALWAYS having fights with theirs, and taking behind their back and tyring to get more shows and stuff.

It's like that in the Engineering world too. Go figure!

People are people and should be given respect always.

best- you're absoluely right. I'm not saying all girls are like that, just many of whom I know. and I suppose boys can be the same as well. My apologies

CATS- that thing happened with my school last year. one girl even called the lead girl the n word. It was awful.

Wicked- as in the mean ppl should be giving respect or I should respect them all?
