I am also delighted to be starting rehearsals in the summer of 2006 for ‘LEGENDS’. This is a fantastically funny and entertaining play by James Kirkwood who wrote ‘Chorus Line’ and is about two feuding actresses who have hated each other for years and are now forced to work together again. Linda Evans my old nemesis Krystal Carrington from Dynasty will be playing the other actress and we think that many Dynasty fans are going to be anxious to see this glamorous lush production with exquisite costumes by Nolan Miller, directed by John Bowab and produced by Ben Sprecher.

Contrary to what many people wanted to think, Linda and I actually got along extremely well during the Dynasty years. The producers and the media loved to create feuds between us because it mirrored our hostility on the show. Well, in Legends there will be plenty of hostility (on stage only) between us, which should certainly satisfy Dynasty fans.

We are all extremely excited by the prospect of touring the US for 8 months and then New York.

Any f@g worth his salt knows who Joan Collins and Linda Evans are. Thank SoapNet for all those countless DYNASTY re-runs. A tip o' the hat also goes off to Fox Movie Channel for those endless repeats of THE GIRL IN THE RED VELVET SWING and honorable mention goes out to TCM for showing THE OPPOSITE SEX in bi-monthly intervals.

I find it hilarious how a twenty year old picture is being used to promote this show. They do NOT look anything like that anymore.

well..it is official...and yes!!! my mom used to watch Dynasty when i was like 4yo...and then i watched some re-runs...Joan is my idol.

suellengay...what do u have exactly against Joan Collins and Linda Evans? anyhow...i am sure this show will do good. Even tho people on here just wanna see Bernardette Peters or Carol
Channing, Joan Collins is a very high profile star, most people over 25yo knows who she is from her Dynasty days. And a star sells tickets.

I don't have anything against Judy Collins. But if Carol Channing, Mary Martin and Gary Beach couldn't make this turkey fly, big hair and B-Movie and Soap stars ain't gonna do it.

Chita and Rita in Legends? this is not going to be a latin soap opera...LOL!!! even though Chita hardly speaks spanish...i remember during the press conference for "Kiss..." they had spanish channels and they had to translate her everything. I think they are great actresses...but they wouldn't be great in Legends.
