It sucks that they are trying to convert this away from theatrical use. It's such a nice space. Comfy seating, great space for shows, etc. Sucks they could never get a long tenant. Too bad Jersey Boys or Mamma Mia or something couldn't go in there. Or wish a non-profit could scoop it up.

Also, in addition to it's poor (i.e. nonexistent) management --- it's actually a pretty terrible space for any show. Pretty much every seat seems like you're 1/2 mile away from the stage.

I think you mean Theater 42, the theater that hasn't been used in 25 years.

Stage 42 has the revival of When Pigs Fly opening in October. Wonderful show, and it should work well in there.
