Does anyone have a picture of the Gershwin house (ceiling, seats, walls, etc) that they can post (or email, if this is an illegal question to ask)?

I'm writing a creative sketch for a class of mine in which I describe the first time I was at a Broadway show at the Gershwin. And I can't exactly remember what the theatre looked like.

Thanks. :)

The Gersh? Is that what the kids are calling it nowadays? I'll always call it the Uris. Such a catchy name, I wonder why they changed it?

You probally don't remember what the theatre looks like, because it is so bland and blah inside. Big theater, but just blahhh. Love the lobby etc, who doesn't?

But seriously, The Gersh? Such an insult to Mr. George Gershwin himself.

No, an insult to George Gershwin is putting a show like wicked in that theatre.

I dunno...Uris sounds a little too much like urine...and let us not forget the reason Via Galactica got named that, instead of "up"

Yes I saw Via & it was the perfect show to open this theater

The Uris was a perfect name for this big barn of a theater

Firstly, the thread title makes one think it's about the agency.

Secondly, the GershWIN had STARLIGHT EXPRESS and MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS insulting the name of the legend long before WICKED showed up.

Um, I'm sorry that you take such issue with my title, I didn't realize it would offend -- but I do wish someone would actually answer my question instead of moping about the state of Broadway as a whole.

Geez.

And, sorry, Rathnait, I wasn't aware of the agency. So you all stop moaning and complaining, I'll change the title.
