I got my CD around 2 O'clock and am only now getting around to posting about it. I, for the most part, LOVE IT!! "Buck Stops Here" is my favorite track hands down and sounds like it could be on the radio as does "Owner Of My heart". Other favorites are "But He's Mine" and I think Wayne wilcox sounds better than he ever did live. Imo, keeping in Lin's ad libs was a really awful mistake. It ruins the momentum of "Buck" and in a number like T.V. Show, it makes NO sense to someone who never got to see the actual show.

Orfeh, if I didn't already worship her, I'm now her self proclaimed, biggest fan. She is a powerhouse in every way and it is all the more surreal that she's not playing The Lady Of The Lake right now. Let's hope she doesn't wait much longer to make her own CD.

All in all, a great CD on par with how I felt about HAIR and DRS. Sh-K-Boom definitely knows how to capture a great cast album. I will say (and I'm not going to enjoy this last part), that the artwork is awful, much like the poster was. Yellow, is just about my least favorite color.

No, it's most of us. Someone at Wicked seems to have something against her as I've heard it from Orfeh herself (and not from someone's cousin's next door neighbor twice removed), that she's never even been seen for the part. Let's hope it's not a repeat with Spamalot. I guess I'm going to have to get this CD. I was so annoyed with the direction of this show and the utter and complete waste of a really proficient cast, I'm afraid it will just annoy me even more.

I just pulled an Exorcist and had my head spinning. OF COURSE ORFEH SHOULD PLAY ELPHABA! What could the producers/casting people be thinking, or rather, NOT. Bree, you should bite the bullet and get the CD. There are parts that will "annoy" you but the good outweighs the bad.
