Even though there hasn't been an official announcement, it appears a West End production will open sometime.

Didn't their production of South Pacific play in London too? This isn't completely unexpected.

I'd love Kelly to do it in London, but if she can't/doesn't want to there are enough good actresses in the West End able to replace her. After having seen him in Miss Saigon, I think Jon Jon Briones would be a wonderful King of Siam... very excited for this transfer, I hope Fun Home and Hedwig are going to have one as well.

omggggggg well she's said in interviews that she loves being with her kids, and that she doesnt want to be away from them soooo unless she moves the whole family over the London!

LuPone did move the whole family when she played Norma Desmond in London, it's not an out of the world possibility. But I don't think Kelli will.

The co-producer is the British Ambassador Theatre Group so that might have something to do with it.

O'Hara's children are still young. I don't speak for her in any way or pretend to know anything about her situation, but if she were to travel to do a show and move her family, now might be a good time to do it. (LuPone's son was a toddler when the family moved to London for SUNSET). Things become difficult when kids are older and established in certain schools, activities, etc -- but it's decidedly easier when they're not in school yet or only in pre-school/first grade.
I'm sure the producers would love Kelli to recreate her Tony winning role in London, were she amenable to the idea.

They haven't confirmed whether it's going to London or doing a UK tour. I imagine it'll be like South Pacific with a limited run in London followed by a tour
