After having seen so many really bad productions of this show, I've come to the conclusion that it must be a lot harder than it looks.
How old was that Jamie? When he sang he was 24 I laughed out loud.

Ok, I have never seen a live production of this show, but I have seen a bootleg of the original, and I love the recording.
I thought this was ok, the first couple of post made me think I was going to see a disaster, and I think it was far from it! The lady's voice sounded a little stronger to me than his.

No, it's just that some people don't appreciate mediocre community theatre.

I'm sure you posted this with the best intentions, but you DID post it on a broadway chat board in the broadway section so you can't be surprised if people are more critical of it. Maybe next time, post something like that on the off-topic board so people are more forgiving.
People read this thread to read about broadway so if someone posts here about something else, it had better be pretty remarkable or it's going to get called out.
