The Lion King Kids Height Limit

Don't you think that they should change the height limit for The Lion King Kids? I mean I auditioned for the show twice but they didn't accept me because I was only a inch above the height restriction. The maximum height is 58 inches. I mean I know they don't want the kids taller than Mufasa or Scar but if you're only like 2 inches above than I think that you should be able to be in the show.

They also want to make sure they can keep you up until a growth spurt so it's worth their trouble to hire you.

Those same restrictions were what kept me from being cast as one of the orphans during the original Broadway run of ANNIE.

The casting agents LOVED me, but couldn't find another spot for me in the show. Yes, I was also too young for Lily St. Regis and even Grace Farrell.

Ljay, I think Stacey may posting under Brody's name...someone's gonna get in trouble (starts calling her iPhone).

I think LizzieCurry has it right, they don't want to deal with the problems of puberty at that age.
