And which song is each movies best?


Best: The Little Mermaid (barely)

Songs:
The Little Mermaid~Under the Sea
Beauty and the Beast~Belle
Aladdin~Proud of Your Boy (it was cut, but I'm counting it )

Best: Beauty and the Beast (no question, my all time favorite Disney movie closely followed by Mulan)

Beauty and the Beast-The title song is so touching, never gets old. I also love "Belle."

The Little Mermaid-"Part of Your World"

Aladdin-"A Whole New World" or the Genie's song...can't remember the title.

Jeez, I haven't seen Aladdin in forever. I just saw Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid within the past few months. It has to be at least a year since I've seen Aladdin, wow!

Beauty & The Beast. Best movie Disney ever made IMHO. Followed closely by The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Best songs from each:

LM: "Under the Sea"
A: "A Whole New World" (it was our wedding song )

Hey, Sharon !! It was our engagement song !!! Love it !

Would have to put "B & B" as number 1, followed by "Aladdin" and "Mermaid"

However, "Part of Your World" is probably my fave song out of all 3 movies.

Just curious... has anyone seen the "Mickey's Philharmagic" attraction in WDW?

Yeah, what the hell is up with the Disney Vault? To me, it is some stupid gimmick to get you to rush out and buy the DVD because no one is buying it...

My favorite movie as a child was The Little Mermaid.

Yeah...several times (I live about 10 miles from WDW). It's cute. It's all computer graphics and it looks like they cut costs on the final production because a lot of the characters look and move a little robotic, but the overall concept and storyline is nice....and the music is awesome .

Beauty and the Beast! is my Fav Disney movie ever!

I love all the music from the movie but "I love Be our Guest" and "something there (that wasn't there before)"

My favorite-TLM, but I think B&B was probably the best

B&B-Belle (but in the show-If I can't LOve HEr )
Aladdin-I really liked One JUmp, but Whole New World probably wins out.

And Testing-I have seen Disney's Philharmagic (sheepish grin).

Kiss the Girl is my FAVORITE disney song of all time... definitely not an easy question for me to answer cuz i LOVE all 3 movies

Millie, the "Disney Vault" has been around since the early 80's when Disney started releasing thier films on video. Before video, Disney used to re-release their films in the theatre every 7 years (a practice I truly miss). Now they make all of their movies available but only for a limited time, so not only is the demand kept high, but interest is never lost. It's brilliant marketing and always has been.

Hard to choose the best Menken movie or song!! But...

Best: Beauty and the Beast - "Belle" ( but "Home" from the stage version is better)
Next best: Little Mermaid - Part of Your World (best song from all three movies)
Next best: Aladdin - One Jump Ahead (but the cut "Proud of Your Boy" is better)

Beauty and the Beast is hands down the best Disney movie ever. Why do you think it was the first one to be made into a Broadway musical? I cant choose the best song. They are all good.
