For those who saw the show what did you think?
Im seeing it Wednesday and just wondering what to expect?
It looked good and I like the music but I heard theres virtually no plot. its not just song after song is it?

It would be more fun if they just kept up the camp and trashed the dramatic story line between the pink girl and the other one.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

The music is great, and for the most part the girls sound amazing. The story line, however, kills the show, beating it to a dead, muddy pulp. If they just trashed the plot and made it a concert, it would be 10 times better.

As mentioned, it pretty much is just song after song after song, with a very threadbare plot linking the numbers together. I saw it way back in previews. The songs are terrific and at that time the voices were great (don't know the current cast) so as long as you know what you're in for, you can just relax, don't expect too much and have a very pleasant time.
