As I’m working near Secaucus this week, I’ve planned to go into the city and catch a show each night. Wednesday night I finally caught Beetlejuice and Friday I’m seeing Six. It is possible I could make a 7:00 show Thursday night, but honestly none of those interest me. I’ve either seen them (want to see something new) or they dont appeal to me. Of the 8:00 p.m. shows, only ones that vaguely interest me are The Minutes, My Name is Lucy Barton, or A Soldiers Play. I’ve seen all the other 8:00 p.m. shows at least once.
I had thought I’d want to see The Minutes, but the reports on here are so mixed so wondering what people recommend. The Minutes, My Name is Lucy Barton, or A Soldiers Play? Or are they all so meh that I should I just stay back at hotel after working all day and rest up for work Friday followed by Siz?
I would rather walk around Port Authority for 90 minutes than sit through Lucy Barton again.

and while i might prefer another viewing of the Minutes to Port Authority, a nice stroll through Grand Central would be my choice.
Soldiers Play isnt perfect but its entertaining and Im glad I saw it.

The Minutes. Great cast. Interesting play.
I have seen all three, and there is no contest whatsoever. Go with The Minutes.

Having seen all three, I’d go with The Minutes, with A Soldier’s Play as the backup. I liked both.
I found Lucy Barton to be a massive slog, but that’s partly because I can’t stand shows that are entirely narration, which this one is.

I've seen Soldiers Play and would rather have to sleep in a Port Authority bathroom than sit through that again.
So:
One vote for walking around Port Authority for 90 minutes
One vote for a nice stroll through Grand Central
Four votes for The Minutes
And...
One vote for sleeping in a Port Authority bathroom

I think you'd be happy with either The Minutes or A Soldier's Play. I found them both compelling for different reasons. I thought A Soldier's Play was more successful in its message, but I'd happily see either again.
I'll take the ticket of the person sleeping in a Port Authority bathroom.

Not sure if you're interested in Off-Broadway, but if you're into Michael Friedman, Unknown Soldier has some great buzz.
I think I’ve decided on The Minutes tonight. I’m looking at using my discount code for either front or second row center orchestra. I know the Cort is known for poor legroom. I’m 6’2” with bad knees. I’ve never been to the Cort before (another vote in favor of seeing The Minutes). Row A currently has a discounted aisle seat available while Row B doesn’t. Advice on legroom/view?
