I saw Mr. Goodman just a couple of months ago in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (as Big Daddy, obviously - and he was BIG) and the audience seriously wondered if he was going to make it through the performance - a couple of times thinking he was dying right in front of us. It was terrifying and sad to watch - especially because he was making some bold and brilliant acting choices - but I cannot imagine him EVER being able to pull this off.

Good reason to wait for an official press release from the creators source. The columinst at that LV paper was banking on a rumor. Sharing the role of Edna, just makes no sense, to me.
