HA. The Annie revival was nuts. I was a part of it, only it was my stage aunt who dragged me to that madhouse...aka open call. I was one of the final 25 for an orphan part and went to NY for the last callbacks and the mothers were IN-FREAKING-SANE. If you ever see the Turning Point episode with the casting of Annie, it doesn't even BEGIN to delve into the craziness that was the 1996 audition FUNHOUSE. *sigh* Memories.
