We mind as well keep the reviews in one place, rather than scattered through the message board. Dicuss!
Edit: I'm sorry if I offended anybody!

I'm ready to slit my wrists...
"We mind as well..."
Are you kidding me?
First, nobody ever consolidates reviews until Margo's opening night compilation. Search YankeeFan and LaCageFan, if you have any questions.
Second, you joined less than a week ago (now, I feel like LizzieCurry) so WHO are you to moderate the boards?!
I'm going to bed becase scanning these things tonight has hit a raw nerve...

I posted this in the other LOVEMUSIK thread, but here it is again. The song list.
"Mungo" is the love child of Margo and Munkustrap, of course.

Sorry Smartful Dodger, I guess I'm getting carried away. I recognize that I'm new and that I guess I'm overstepping my boundaries...I'll back off then! hahaha SueleenGay, I'll never be as theatre savvy as either of them, but thanks for the compliment!
It is pointless if it hasn't even opened... I'm not going through a thrillion posts before finding the real reviews. I hope Margo doesn't recognize this as her child.
Just got home from the show myself and I do agree that it definately needs some work. They could lose 6 or 7 of the songs in the show to shorten it since right now it runs about 2 hrs 50 mins and a few scenes/songs are completely unnecessary or entirely too long and halt the flow of the piece. It wasn't until about 30 minutes into Act one that the pace picked up and I was really able to start enjoying it.
I will say though that Donna Murphy and Michael Cerveris gave stunning, brilliant performances. Murphy inhabits Lotte Lenya the same way Ebersole does Edie as does Cerveris with his Kurt Weill.
Sitting in the audience tonight I could tell this isn't going to be a show for everyone especially when Act 2 started and maybe a quarter of the mezz hadn't come back. I, on the other hand will definately be going back at least a few more times to see how Prince changes and improves this show. It has incredible potential and for the first time this season, I see an actual race for the Best Actress Tony developing.

Maybe that should be in the FAQ. I had no idea there were restrictions on who could start review threads.

Thanks for saying that Kringas...
Dodger? Who the h**l are you to say that anyone in particular gets to start threads? I have no problem with Margo starting review threads on opening night, but it's not in the rule book, and I would gander that Margo really doesn't give 2 figs about who actually starts the threads. Get over yourself Dodger. You ain't Margo's love child either.
Dodger,
You're on a roll, huh? Is anyone safe...?

I hope she got the rest she needed. That raw nerve must be a killer.
