re: The Pajama Game

I believe all the rush tickets are in the rear mezzanine. It's a little high up, but the theater is fairly small and for the price it's not bad at all.

re: The Pajama Game

Quick question...

Which way does Kelli exit? I'm seeing it on Saturday night and wanted to say hi.

re: The Pajama Game

Are these rush tickets same rules as most others? Arrive when box office opens, purchase tickets for the same day, etc.? I usually check that site Talkin Broadway for the rush policies, but Pajama Game doesn't seem to be posted...yet.

re: The Pajama Game

Yes, rear mezz $36.25 tickets go on sale day of when box office opens. Student rush is 30 minutes before curtain, any seats left are half price (with the lowest normal seat costing $66.25).
The view is great, I sat there a couple days ago.

And while Harry Connick Jr came out the stage door on 43rd, Kelli went out another exit that day.

re: The Pajama Game

Harry is the ONLY actor who exits on 43rd. The others (Kelli, Michael, etc) have been instructed to leave on 42nd Street.

If Harry comes out fast, you can probably get around to the front before they all go.

Roz came out on 43rd on Wednesday night.

re: The Pajama Game

Thanks. I'll probably just hang out on 42nd to catch Kelli. Is there really a huge crowd waiting for Harry, or are the baracades just precautionary?

re: The Pajama Game

It was mighty cold last night, but only about 10 people waited for Harry at the 43rd St. door. He was such a sweetheart and signed for everyone. Roz also came out that door but not Kelli or Michael.

The show was incredible!

re: The Pajama Game

It was EXTREMELY cold last night...I waited for Patti at Sweeney, but it was worth it...she is the nicest person in the world! I'd love to see Harry, but Kelli is at the top of my list. I'm so excited!

re: The Pajama Game

The best availability is during the week. If you sign up for the HipTix program (free sign up) you can get $36.25 tickets to it in advance. They're usually in the rear mezz and may be obstructed. I got an obstructed box seat for an upcoming performance (the only one they had left for a Saturday matinee). It's worthwhile if you don't want to spend so much to see shows, or can't afford $85 for seats.

re: The Pajama Game

Does anyone come out after matinees?
#18

re: The Pajama Game

The all do....Harry on 43rd, everyone else on 42nd.

re: The Pajama Game

I signed up for the hiptix thing but i'm too young so i doubt i can use it. But are all the rush tickets just partial view box seats?

re: The Pajama Game

the first time i did rush for Pajama Game, I got the last row of the mezzanine. the second time i rushed the show (two days later), i was in the box seats. it all depends on availability.

re: The Pajama Game

I've already met Kelli before, and as much as I'd love to meet Harry, I really want to meet Megan Lawrence. Wouldn't look funny if I sat around the 42nd street entrance instead, would it?

re: The Pajama Game

I say waiting on the other side for the other actors would be terrific. They are just as hard working and deserve to be greated by throngs of adoring public. I for one am more excited about seeing Kelli O'Hara than I am about Harry Connick.

re: The Pajama Game

If anybody is planning to rush this weekend, get there early. Apparently, its almost sold out. I think they have SRO. However, they do have a cancellation line that forms half hour before show. The BO lady told me to get there early if I am going to a matinee. Make sure for the cancellation, bring 51.25 with you. They said they might have box seats for 36.25. We will hopefully see. I person will inform me more about it later on. He was on line for tonights show, apparently sold out.

re: The Pajama Game

Well, I'm glad it's selling out...but damn. Thanks for the info.

bdwybug: I agree with you 100%. I am extremely excited to see Kelli and give her the praise she deserves...as well as the whole cast.
