re: Review of Kyle Dean Massey in N2N...

yeah mary mossberg did a great job as diana. i was disappointed to see that she didn't continue with the broadway production - i think she joined the papermill's production of 1776.

re: Shea's Buffalo '08-'09 Season Announced.

i'm defintely going. woo-hoo. patti in buffalo!
re: 'Shut Up, Patti LuPone!' Episode on Now! 1/16

here is a link to the clip. the only downside is that it doesn't show the very last scene of will & patti singing, and jack about to cut her hair.
re: Performers Who Sound Alike

i always thought sherie rene scott and felicia finley sounded similar. then again they both played amneris in aida.
re: Of All The Shows/Performances You Saw This Year...

it would definitely be watching 'gypsy' for the second time front row back in may. i saw the show a first time from one of the last rows in the balcony, so it was quite a change. plus i got some of the june's letter, which was a nice memento.

and maybe seeing 'cry-baby'. i don't think i've ever laughed so much at one show - not to be confused, i laughed in a positive way. i liked the show.

re: GYPSY to Close Early on January 11, 2009

aw rats. guess i'll have to see it a 6th time before it closes. i really hope they film this show.
re: I Love ( ) and I'm not ashamed!!

cry baby & the wedding singer!
Hilarious Comments...

once at gypsy (back in may), an older couple sitting behind me start to look at their playbills, and the husband says..."oh i didn't know patti lupone was in this show". her name and face is plastered all over the theatre. haha.
re: What's the most number of times you've seen one show?

hairspray - 8 times
the wedding singer - 4 times
42nd street - 4 times
rent - 4 times
gypsy (patti lupone revival) - 4 times
cry-baby - 3 times
the drowsy chaperone - 3 times
thoroughly modern millie - 3 times (once on broadway, twice on tour)

re: Gypsy $27 front row

she's 13. i think i may end up getting student tickets earlier on - for rear balcony seats, so that way she'll be more comfortable. plus she's not too picky about seat location. i would pay more to get better seats, but hey i'm a poor college student. haha.
re: Gypsy $27 front row

about how high up is the stage? i want to take my younger sister to see it, but she's on the shorter side (4'10"). i plan on doing student rush (for front row seats) on a thursday. should i just get rear balcony seats to be on the safe side?
re: Broadway Facebook Application

there's finally a facebook application for shows - it's called STAGE DOOR. it's pretty neat :)
re: Family Guy Musical References

here is a link to the american dad episode that references xanadu...
re: Family Guy Musical References

tonight's episode (a repeat) featured joe, quagmire, cleveland, and peter performing "good mornin" (singin' in the rain)
re: Family Guy Musical References

On a more recent episode of american dad, there was a scene, in which roger (the alien) was dressed up as olivia newton john from xanadu, performing on a cruise ship. i guess it pertains more to the movie, but i found it hilarious, nonetheless.

re: There's a video from the Mermaid on Disney.com!

maybe it's been answered before, but do you think they'll ever offer SRO for this show? because if i remember correctly, beauty & the beast (at that same theatre) offered it for sold out shows.
re: Cyrano $20 Tickets...

does anyone know if they have standing room tickets for this show?
re: actors that were miscast in some of you fav. musicals

defintely laura benanti in the wedding singer.
