Interesting and excited that he's being more flexible. I'll forgive him for Bad Cinderella if we can get the Hollywood Bowl's Superstar at Radio City for a Week.

I don’t know that he’s the “master” of reinvention. Other composers, particularly Sondheim, have long understood that allowing new interpretations of their work is essential to their longevity. ALW was fairly late in embracing this.

I loved Bad Cinderella and hated Cynthia Erivo in Jesus Christ Superstar, but loved this article - thanks for sharing.
