The Phantom of the Opera 30th Anniversary Is On sale to the Public

Apparently it is not, invitation only. As I was browsing telecharge earlier I went to phantom and saw that the 24th was no longer blanked out. So I went in and the entire front mezz is for sale for $100, and the first few rows of the center rear mezz are also available for the same price. And in the other thread I believe is a discount code. Talk about weird, especially it being 4 days away. Anything like this happen for the 25th anniversary?

Kind of. This time, they set aside 300 seats for the public. For the 25th, they just put up the tickets that cast/crew declined up for sale, and did a lottery to win free tickets. Not sure how many there were, but it was the last couple rows of the rear mezz at least.

They are driving me CRAZY. I just purchased the front row MEZZ to get closer....as well as the rear with the code. This is all such a mess the way it was handled.

I did the same so now I have an extra ticket in rear mezz that I won't be using. If anyone wants to buy my extra ticket in rear mezz, please PM me. I paid $40 ($30 face value of ticket plus $10 fees) so that's what I'm hoping to get back. The ticket is Rear Mezzanine Right Center Aisle Seat. As far as I can tell the only tickets available on Telecharge are $100 each so this is a cheaper alternative for anyone who just wants to get in.

Yeah, I just checked telechargeoffers.com and put in the code and there are no $30 seats left, so I guess that gives us a better chance of selling those REAR MEZZ tickets to someone who doesn't want to pay more.

Telecharge gave me a call this afternoon to confirm my ticket for the event. I guess they saw I had two tickets and thought it was a duplicate. I asked for a refund on the lower priced Rear Mezz ticket and they gave it to me. For anyone who bought rear mezz seats first with the code and then front mezz when they became available, it looks like they are willing to give you a refund for the cheaper seats. You just need to ask.

I got the same duplicate m3ssage. I just called in and they were asking if I wanted both or if I would like to return the cheaper one, which I just did. I guess if your looking for a 30 dollar ticket they should be popping up sporatically.

After entering the contest and hearing nothing on Friday, I bought rear mezz over the weekend. Yesterday I called Telecharge to exchange those seats and pay the upgrade cost for the newly released front mezz seats.

My husband has now informed me that he has discovered an email from yesterday afternoon notifying him that we'd won the contest. Can you believe this - notifications went out on Monday afternoon? I'm furious.

Excellent!
