Mirvish productions just announced they will be dimming the marquees of the Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandria Theaters in Toronto tonight in honor of Gavin.

Just listened to the soundtrack and love it. Rather hoping that Mirvish has this lined up for the upcoming off-Mirvish season in Toronto. Since they delayed announcing it maybe they just waiting for it to get glowing reviews in London. He certainly loves bringing in shows from London rather than Broadway!

Originally since we were only the second production of the show we had the full broadway production...the rising pride rock, all the bells and whistles. If I had to place bets I would say they most likely will grab a tour set and call it a day.

Well seems Pluto in Canada doesn't get the channel needed. This splitting the awards sucks and we never get to see the whole thing.

Who do I throw my money at. I'm gonna be needing a ticket for every performance of the run. Best need of the year!!!

If Doubtfire wasn't able to sustain in January I don't know how Tina and Girl from North Country can. Lookin at this up coming week both have less than 200 seats sold for each performance. Be interesting to see how many others follow suit with short term hiatus.

The Jesus Christ Superstar tour in Toronto has just cancelled it's remaining two weeks of shows here due to Covid. Our Come From Away sit down is currently on hold till next week.

With the sudden cancellation of Leapoldstat in Mirvishes Toronto season for Jan Feb and He being a producer on Jagged I wouldn't be surprised if they move the bway production up here to fill the spot. I don't see another touring show that is available for two months starting that soon.

In other news ..... Anybody heard of the musical Diana and Sons now playing in The Netherlands. Diana en Zonen. Came upon it accidentally. Don't understand a word but kinda looks interesting. I thought Jesse's review was rather tame just truthful. No snark, no sarcasm, which almost made it more harsh. Everything he said is true. It's kind of like when you're parents wouldn't yell but just gave you that look and said I'm so dissapointed. No please tell at me scream at me, anything.

Did Camilla Bowles commission this drivel....I'm not halfway through act one and it seems Camilla and Charles are poor victims. Camilla has so much screen time. This is not Diana the musical. It's Camilla,the untold victimhood. It's horrifying laughable and will be closed two weeks after opening

Not much of a Be More Chill fan but I'm kinda hoping for a "Patti in the Basement" rendition.

It is surprising. Buffalo the last few seasons has had great seasons. I may get a subscription there this year. Love a good road trip. Will not be getting one in Toronto. Lord knows I couldn't sit through that Oklahoma again. So hopefully Hadestown or The Prom goes to Buffalo.

I think casting blind is awesome, but what I dislike is that KRISTOFF will never not be a POC because he was originated by a POC. Which, I get the argument, but just wish casting was more fluid in both aspects. "I’ve seen Jake Smith play the role. They wait this long. Now there isnt even a good seat to be had for the Buffalo stop. This wasnt decided yesterday if they already had a replacement show. Im so done with Mirvish. They have taken us from a first run tour stop to a 4th. And then cancel anything good.

What the hell does this feud bit have to do with celebrating bway. James Corden is not funny. We need to go back to having bway star hosts and presenters. This show is much like most.of the shows this year. Dull and mindnumbing.

In the city Come From Away is advertised way heavier than Evan. I keep forgetting we even have a sit down playing or even that its in town. It seemed like a wrong show for a sit down here from the beginning and it doesnt seem much effort has been put behind marketing it.
