The Preacher's Wife- Tituss Burgess

I was wondering if anybody has been to either reading of Tituss's adaption of The Preacher's Wife? I wasn't aware of it until I saw this tweet. Tituss doing music and lyrics is exciting to me. I was thinking about this material becoming a musical recently when a few clips were circulating on Twitter. It's interesting because The Preacher's Wife is a remake that really managed to forge its own identity. Can the musical do the same?

Glad to hear this is continuing as well. Based on this cast I’m sure the sounds in that room were glorious.
