I agree :)

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

Ran into Roger in Verdi Square the other day. I hadn't seen him in a while and I had forgotten how laid back he is. Glad he's signed on to Desperate Housewives for another year, he was one of the only actors who doesn't mug it up on that show. I hope he does lots of movies and tv so he can afford to do all the theatre he wants to do. :)

Word. Word, indeed.

I LOVE him, and I loved him on Desperate Housewives!!!!!! I was so mad when Bree's Husband was mean to him, so naturally I'm glad that he died :) I never liked her husband anyways......

To me Rogar Bart will always be Snoopy!!!!!!

re: The Roger Bart Appreciation

A Roger appreciation thread? I am SO here! I fell in love with him back in 1997 without even knowing it - with his singing on the Hercules soundtrack. Now I've seen him 3 times on stage and just can't get enough. I'm already hoping to see The Producers again in 2 weeks. re: The Roger Bart Appreciation

Roger rocks my proverbial socks. And shoes. And, hell, pretty much any other kind of metaphorical clothing you can think of.

My friend printed out a picture of him from online, and taped his head to a little wooden-rod-thingie, and gave him paper arms, then gave it to me for Christmas. I shall cherish it always, even if it is a testament to my obsessive insanity.

Yay for Roger. :)

I have adored him ever since YAGMCB.
I love to hate his character on Desperate Housewives.

Also, let us not forget about his role in "The Stepford Wives" remake. There were about 3 or 4 actors who (I feel) actually made that movie bearable. He is one of them. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE ROGER BART!!! (Just look at the avatar lol). I have never met him but seen him in The Producers and I was hooked from then on. Loved him as Snoopy as well...he def deserved the Tony!!! Hercules is my absolute FAVORITE Disney cartoon of all time. Ive sung "I Can Go THe Distance" for so many auditions and I never get sick of it. Roger Bart is by far one of the best musical actors on B'way right now and ever on B'way.

"No, but I have the DVD......what is it about?"

During his little "interview" thing he talks about a scene that was cut. I'm not sure whether or not it would violate guidelines to talk about what that scene involves, but it's... interesting.

re: The Roger Bart Appreciation

(Everbody's doing it!...my scanner is such crap) ^At The Frogs, way back last September. I look so different now it's ridiculous, but he's just adorable. *sigh* My favorite, favorite actor. I'm hopefully going to see him in The Producers (third time as Leo, first time this run) in about three weeks or so. One of the most brilliant comedic actors I've ever seen, and in my humble opinion, that has ever been. Not to mention how sweet he is! Great to talk to.

That interview on the Stepford DVD never fails to make me laugh.

I'm not procrastinating from finishing a report on Edward Albee or anything, of course not...*shifty eyes*...

All right, maybe I am, but it's for Roger, so it's excusable.

Merrily we roll along, roll along...

I saw The Producers again on Friday night (June 3rd)...it was a great show (and the great house, too.)!! Roger did some incredibly funny ad libs at least...oh, I don't know, maybe 5 times? I mean, the stage can be different every night so I am not sure those are some things they recently start doing, but those were not in the show as long as I know...and they all worked so well. I won't tell you 'cuz he might do it again and I don't want to spoil them for you.

What's great about him, among a million things that's great about him, is that he's got the "beat," which is the most important ingredient for comedy in my opinion.

My most favorite show of his is actually "Fully Committed." I don't know that is his favorite or not, but I loved it (maybe because all you see is only him on stage? re: The Roger Bart Appreciation). I could not get enough of this show. It was a great showcase of his talent as an actor and a performer (I prefer to call him "performer" somehow).

Roger Bart certainly showed me what the joy of theatre experience is. He will be the legend. I really like it when he is being really honest in some interviews saying (in a nutshell) that he is doing what he is doing to make a living. Great performer ever.

Bumping the Roger love.

What I wouldn't have given to see him in Fully Committed! Lucky, lucky person, Mandy2loveRB.

Tee hee, I love him.

He was so awesome as Snoopy when I saw You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown!

I get lost, unless, of course, I'm getting found.

I'll join in...LOVE the man, from the second the spotlight fell on him as Carmen Ghia back in my first Producers. Loved him as Leo, loved him in The Frogs, loved him in Stepford Wives. Even have all of Bram & Alice on video. Why oh why did I not watch Stepford Wives this year? Ahh! He's so lovely too, my picture with him is one of my favorites (in my fan pix). Wish I saw him as Snoopy!

Oh I wish I could take it but I'll be home at that point. I'm hoping my parents will want to see the show next Friday when they come to take me home. Gosh I'm going to miss NY and being so close to Roger...

Is it sick that when I was up in Times Square to see Bee I debated with myself whether to wait to see him come out (meaning an extra hour of waiting)? I need professional help...

No, no, you are not sick, ProducersFan...I know exactly what you are talking aboutre: The Roger Bart Appreciation Especially it is Roger who will never disappoint you. I never done that since (not to be disrespectful or rude...again, I always have that dilemma, too!!!!), I feel bad to see the actors when I don't see the show. So, usually I try to go home...it is SOOOOOO HARD, though.

Roger Bart's in the Spelling Bee show? That's cool! Maybe I'll see it now lol. Anyway, I love Roger Bart!! He's so cool. Whenever I watch Hercules, I turn the volume up during "Go the Distance". I love the You're a Good Man Charlie Brown soundtrack and of course The Producers. My friend reminds me so much of Roger Bart but in a good way :)
