Good for him. He must have loved The Last Ship experience, despite everything.

The writing team alone has me excited. The fact it's based on one of my favorite movies that I can see adapting VERY well to stage has my setting expectations way too high. lol

Hmm.. That's really weird.. A few sources from the reading described Cady Huffman playing Billie, Mandy Gonzales playing Loretta (who was replaced halfway through by Lindsay Mendez), and Kyle Beltran playing Hooker.

This made me laugh. I thought the same thing.
I've never seen the movie but I adore the soundtrack.

Three weeks before Riedel's writeup, it was reported that Charlie Pollock was Gondorff at the reading and Cady Huffman was Billie. http://www.out.com/michael-musto/2015/7/27/gogo-boys-lust-and-other-sexy-scenes-nightlife

In the article there is a youtube video saying "Marvin Hamlisch -The Entertainer". It is not, it is Scott Joplins , The Entertainer. Mr Hamlisch always liked to pretend that he was more responsible for the music in "The Sting" than Scott Joplin.
