I just got this book for Christmas and it is PERFECT!

It is the quintasential(sp?) cast recording information book and it has EVERYTHING!

I highly recomend this to everyone.

You should get it...it has info on EVERY major(and not major) cast recording ever made.

Oy. Someone posted a few days ago with pretty much the exact opposite opinion. I guess it depends on what you're interested in.

Plum-I can see where people would not like it (they gave AIDA 1 star) but I believe it is a very honest book.

I also like the fact that it was written by more than one person, and that they are all involved in theatre somehow.

I'm glad you're enjoying the book. :) I wasn't going to get it either way, but I found it amusing that about 2 days after that negative thread we're getting such a happy one about the exact same thing.
