Even though the show has tanked here in the UK and is now closing ,the show is aiming to open on Broadway in the spring of 2008.

I think it has a chance of doing better on Broadway than it did here. There was just too much competition during the last year in London - so many big musical openings - and the prices were just ridiculous for it. These two issues shouldn't affect is as much on Broadway, especially as it is a more known and loved American commodity.

im hoping that they take the constructive criticism from London and polish it for NY audiences, but i am so thrilled this is coming here.

wonder who theyll look at for the leads. Definitely hope that Loraine Velez comes over with the show...
