Any news on whether there will be a recording of the Ashanti/LaChanze production of The Wiz?

Also, what are the new/additional songs on the new HAIR recording?

That's a shame. Apart from Ashanti, the other performers sound fab.

I've always felt that the music in THE WIZ sounds like bubblegum pop.

I always felt that the sound of the OBC album of THE WIZ does not truly represent the feeling of the show. For that reason I'd like to hear another cast album from...somewhere.

I doubt that any commercial recording will be made. Suggest you look for a pirate if you're that interested in having this production.
