The Rent tour is going to be there in about two weeks, and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a show there from the Balcony. If so, how is the view? I'm wondering if I should buy tickets in advance or try my hand at getting in line early enough for 20$ orchestra. A question for you more seasoned veterans at the whole rush tickets thing; how early should I show up?

"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad

I've never sat in the balcony but the theatre is not cavernous, and pretty small compared to some other DC theatres. I would imagine your view would be fine.

As for rush, I have no idea- but I already have tickets.

The warner is a great theatre, and the balcony is fine! I highly suggest buying tickets!

It's gorgeous. Don't forget to check out the sidewalk in front of the theatre and down to the corner.
