Does "The Wedding Singer" offer student or rush tickets? If so, when do you have to get to the theatre, and where are the seats usually located? Thanks.
They have Student Rush. I believe they are obstructed view
Thanks. Do they start selling it when the box office opens? And if so, is it really hard to get? Thanks!!!

The student tickets in the front row are considered and stamped obstructed view. However, you miss none of the action, just the lower portion of the set. Student tickets are sold for the front row and then for any empty seats. There is no real need to get there early, unless you want seats up front. They're $26.25, 2 per valid ID, when the box office opens on the day of the show...and they're very strict about it.

so would you recommend getting front row seats or would the second or third row be better?
I got there around 12:00 or 12:30 or so and they still had plenty of the first-row tickets left. My boyfriend and I were a little left of center, so they had probably sold a little more than half.
They're really awesome seats, too. There are a few occassions when somebody's on the floor and you miss a bit, but I thought the seats were great.

The front row on the sides are great. They're not considered obstructed. The center seats has the downfall of missing the set, which is great. However, there is no bad seat in that theater.

No, you don't miss any lighting effects. The Pong Game during the entr'acte is very visible.
It's whatever's empty, you can't request seats.

You don't really "go" for second row. After first row sells out, it's whatever they have left. Second row is on sale to the general public months in advance.

It really depends on the day. Last Sunday, I saw peoples tickets before going in and they clearly had row A in the orch seats 109, 110, & 111 for 110$. So they apparently can sell those tickets in advance.
Rush can be tricky though- One time I got there 2 hours before curtain and got row L all the way on the side. Last Sunday I got there 2 hours before curtain and got row C on the side but not the last seats. It wasn't partial view at all.
With front row, you're technically better with seats on the side because theres less of an angle with the stage (yes, this is how me & my friend spent time before the show started one day...) If you're dead center, the stage is considered higher than if you're on the side, you have a different angle, which is less.
In regards to them being very strict about student rush. My school doesn't hand out student IDs until mid September. But I'm hoping to see the show on the 9th...do you think that if I brought in an ID with my picture on it from last year, and my schedule from this year...that they'd let me do SR?

My best friend went and bought tickets student rush and got 4th row seats. The lady wasnt strict at all. She didn't photo copy them, or even look at them. He even let someone else use his id and she didnt notice.
So, would I want to get front row center or go a little later and get other random seats? Cause I heard the stage is really high.
