If money wasn't an option, what seat in the Gershwin Theatre would you sit in?

Not in the premium seats.

Center Orch midway back or the front of the mezz, to be able to see the entire production. Being close is not always a good thing.

I've sat in every section of the Gershwin and, while the sightlines are generally good, especially for such a large house, by far the best was center aisle of the front mezz.

Just remembering you've had an "and" When you're back to "or" Makes the "or" mean more than it did before

Agreed. Front Mezz all the way!

Thanks guys! Can you see the actors very well from Front Mezz (exaggerated expressions, etc.)?

Rear mezzo @ your peril.

I've sat in a few places: first row center of rear mezz, front row center mezz, first row orchestra lotto, fourth row center... my favorite was about halfway back in the orchestra center. Perfect spot, especially for feeling a part of Defying Gravity, but being able to see it all.

I just went Friday and sat mid mezz and it was perfect. A great experience as well. I've never been in a theatre so large, and the first time that I saw Wicked was on vacation in London at the Apollo Victoria theatre, so it was a great experience!

So it's Center Orch midway, or the center front of the mezz!
(Center Orchestra Rows E-J, Center Mezz A)

Could anybody vouch for what's better? Especially for expressions and other subtle things like that?

Both are great, but if it was my choice, I'd go orchestra again, maybe toward the back of those rows.

I like Orchestra Left about "C". Now, it varies as to whether it is considered premium or not. In Fact in Feb when I when Left was reg and right was premium. If you have seen before and don't mind partial, you can do BB right or left. BB 6 or 5 are great!
