The Tornado has to be. If you watch Stephanie Mills and Auntie Em, they are spinning very fast and the dancers in the tornado. It definitely looks and sounds sped up. I saw the original as a kid fourth row and it was slower, not slow, per say just less manic. Even as a kid I remember when the "Eye Of The Storm" came out I thought it was so clever and the dance was elegant. The video runs 3:02 and includes Dorothy and Em before the music starts and the OCA the music alone runs 3:25

Brand New Day's choreography was awe inspiring, bringing the audience to it's feet!

Speaking of wonderful staging and choreography, look at the brilliant use of the Yellow Brick Road dancers on "Soon As I Get Home." I know you can't see it in this video, but I remember when each of the dancers leans forward (one at a time) and slowly shakes his head, a cloud of shimmering gold sequins and glitter fell out and drifted onto the ground. At least they dancers with afros in the original production did that. It added a sweet bit of "magic dust" to the song. I assume even though these dancers aren't wearing afros (more of a spiky '80s hairdo), they are doing the same choreography here so that touch of golden glitter is probably there too.
