I couldn't care less about what you do, but I'm still confused. Exactly how did you find this thread? The last post before yours is from 2013. Understandably, everyone assumes you had to do a search to find it, in which time you could have easily googled "August Wilson Theatre seating chart," which would have answered your question.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for some people to simply not read threads in which they have no interest."
I don’t understand-I posted a wondering on here....how does that show a non-interest...."
I believe you misunderstood my comment. I was referring to the people who attacked you for "reviving an old thread", as if that's a crime. If the thread is of no interest to them, I don't see why they can't just skip it.

At the Academy in Philly you have the parquet, parquet circle, balcony, family circle and the amphitheater.
So confusing the first time I went.

Yes, its pointed out that to many that the question they post could have easily been answered by a google search. Which would take the same time for one as it does to actually post the question.
You need to re-think your constant over reaction. I love how you tell others to leave you alone by not leaving their comments alone. No one attacked you. (And you aren't the one that revived the thread)
Is the Mezzanine the Balcony? The answer is it depends. Most Broadway Theatres built before 1920 (and amplification) have 3 levels – Orchestra, Mezz, and Balcony. After 1920, most theatres were built with 2 levels, Orchestra and Mezzanine, as sight lines are typically better than those theatres with Balconies. In the Mezz level, there typically is a cross aisle dividing the 4-5 row Front Mezzanine and the remaining number of rows Rear Mezzanine. If you purchase at Mezzanine ticket, you are on the second level of that theatre. If you purchase a balcony ticket, you are on the third level. For what it’s worth, I prefer Front Mezz to Orchestra as it provides a better view of stage and choreography and you don’t have to worry about some big/tall person directly in front of you blocking your view of the stage. Balcony for me it too high up.

Please stop. You need to stop policing how people treat you and others. If you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. People should stop conversing with you, because all you do is pull the victim card. Stop picking fights please.

There’s a theater company that does not have a balcony per say. This theater labels their seating chart orchestra, lodge, mezzanine. Even the lodge and the mezzanine is like one big balcony that is separted about a wak way and some stairs.

I’d like to apologize to everyone on this thread who feels that I have attacked them or reacted inappropriately. While I think it’s silly to overreact over someone commenting on a thread from a while ago, I DID overreact in my comments and for that I’m sorry I’ll try to avoid having this happen again.
Thanks for the apology. We all lose it here now and then for one reason or another. An apology, even if we think undeserved, should end matters and everyone should forget about the trouble.

heah but I’ve done it more than most and tbh I’m embarrassed about that. You’re right.

Hello all, if you've been following this thread, you know that it has devolved into quite a bit of a mess over the past 12 hours. As some of you have noted, we have deleted all of the posts from that period that were not about the topic at hand, but were instead focused on arguing with a particularly antagonistic poster. While we would rather not delete that many posts, it had take the thread so far afield from the topic at hand, we felt it necessary.
Please feel free to continue discussing the thread's topic.
