Posted: 3/2/05 at 12:40amI am loving this woman more and more every day. Her voice is seriously like nothing I've ever heard before. I was watching the dvd of Linda Eder's Christmas concert at the Mohegan Sun in 2001. Tucked back in the backup choir was Shoshana, on the end of the soprano section. During "Ave Maria," you can hear a single soprano nailing incredibly high notes with full power, and low and behold, it's Shoshana. I cannot believe all that she can do, she is amazing.

Just wondering cause I live in Oregon and have worked with Shoshana's mother, Felice, several times (she's a dance teacher and choreographer). She had Shoshana sign a Playbill for me when she went out to new York a few months ago.

Posted: 3/2/05 at 12:55amI wasn't impressed with her singing in a choir, I was impressed with her range as a singer. She has this awesome belt and then she also has a gorgeous soprano.

Getting the Broadway cast back was really rough for the picture but thank god they got 'em back. Now let's just hope that New Line doesn't screw up Hairspray and cast John Travolta as Edna...Yikes!

Who is Daphne Ruben Vega? I think they should have cast her because that is a much cooler name.
