Oy.

Daphne wasn't cast because she looks to old and she just had a baby. Thats the same reason (minus the baby) why Freddie Walker, the original Joanne Jefferson, isn't reprising her role.

I think everyone on this website knows about the movie, who the cast is and when its coming out.

I'm going to bed.

I do apologize for rudeness, but I am tired and this was very amusing to someone on little sleep.

How did we get here from the wonder that is Ms. Bean? MY opinion on the original topic is that she's no wonder. No one on Broadway is. Many people just have IT. That doesn't make them a "wonder." It can make them nice to watch though. We need to get over the obsession with actors. I mean it's ok to admire someone, but really, must it change every time a show opens. I have an idol. Nathan Lane. How many Nathan worshoping threads do I post....never posted one. I would especially not do it, if there were A MILLION OTHER POSTS ON THE SAME FRICKIN' TOPIC......AHHHH. ok. done. I like the music from Wicked but I wish it would close so we could stop talking about the show and it's ever changing cast.

SHOSHANA BEAN IS AMAZING.

I saw her in Wicked and she was better than Idina. She can actually sing the notes and hold them every single time. Don't get me wrong, I love Idina, but Shoshana is so amazing.

hey well connections is a great way, cause now because of my one freind who is now the musical director. I am freinds and personally know shoshana bean,megan hilty,kris cusick,marty thomas and kristy cates its great fun. They are such amazing people.

What's even funnier is that I got a PM explaining the characters and plot because they "thought this would help."

If they aren't familiar with the board, that is what they would do. You led them to believe that you were clueless. The acted as if you were. I don't see a problem here. Not on their part, that is.

Shoshana is amazing to me. She's not a very good actress as Elphaba, but she is the best singer I have ever heard, in my opinion, and she's a lot nicer to her fans than Idina.

i just saw the show yesterday with my school (3rd time seeing it) and for the second time (first i saw eden...loved her) i LOVED shoshana. her voice is amazing! and i liked her acting too...she always seems in character, evn though that is obviously expected for a broadway performer..still...i think she is fabulous. im a HUGE fan. seeing this thread makes me happy!

Shoshana is indeed a force to be reckoned with. Her voice is crazy; her range is so versatile and strong.
