I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I have my first show tomorrow night and based on the notifications I have received, I'm supposed to arrive 15 minutes before curtain.  I would love to sit down earlier and have time to look at my playbill.  Has anyone experienced being held at the box office for arriving too early?

There's no TOO early the theater won't open until around 30min before curtain there will be a line outside the theater to get in.  You'll show your Vaccination Card and ID and if you have any bags they will inspect them before they scan your ticket.

That is just a suggested time to keep things orderly. If you want to go earlier, then just get in line early and you'll be fine.

I'm a "3 minutes until curtain" kind of person because there are no lines then. I race to my seat (always on the aisle) and it always works out. But, that's just me.

Enjoy the show!

I work at some of the busier shows, and doors are open an hour before the show. That being said, depending on the house they're only seating about 20 minutes before. Unless you'd like to buy merchandise, 15 minutes is a good amount of time

I received that "arrival time" message for ticketmaster shows, yet had no prob getting in 30 mins early tho mine said 15 which isn't enough.  I've yet to be at a show that started on time.
