I just came up with a great topic! What will the theaters be like in the future? Say like 50 to 100 years from now? Both onstage, backstage, and the auditorium itself? Maybe there will be seat massagers or robot ushers! lololol

This is a comforting statement. Thank God.

Posted: 7/8/05 at 12:35amWhy? I think things can improve. Like some of the seat views and leg room. And another is the ushers, GAWD! some of them can be sooo mean.

Posted: 9/24/05 at 5:56pmHopefully we'll never get to the point of virtual reality theater...then again...how cool would it be to be able to load a performance of say Fiddler on the Roof and have the option to choose from 15 different Tevyes and 15 Golde's and you can mix and match...and you would always have the best seat in the house. While it wouldn't replace live theater - it would definitely be pretty cool!
