I merely state that if one wants to choose between your definition of "diseased" and the AMA's, I would recommend going with the latter.

i assume all of us are against discrimination- for any reason- and I am sure we all agree on diversity- in all of its aspects- being a good thing. Diversity does not mean a quota system for any particular race or color- hopefully we are becoming a more diverse society- which I really do think is being reflected in the arts. It is a slow process, it seems- but I think huge strides have been made. Things are much better than thew were even 20 years ago for many minority communities. The real problem, I think, is the shrinking middle class- the growing poverty stats for so many in the minority communities- children without adequate medical care or food- socially we have made strides- economically we have gone backwards- my opinion.
