I am thrilled to see some of the most respected posters on BWW praising DESSA ROSE to this extent. I had high hopes for this show when I first heard about it, and now I just can't wait till April 2 when I get to see it. PalJoey - the P word, really!?!?!?! That is so exciting. It looks like the Drama Desk Awards could be far more interesting than the Tony Awards this year, at least in terms of Best New Musical and Best Performance by a Female in a Lead Role.
