You have so much time tomorrow to explore!

Go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art...

Go on a tour of someplace or other...

Spend time walking around! You always find something interesting (last time I ran between Obama and Clinton supporters at Central Park yelling at each other from across the street...the Clinton supporters were the loudest).

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

There are a few good museums! Or tour the UN.

Are you looking for free things?

They usually have great exhibits at the public library.

If you like civil war history. Check out Grant's Tomb. It is along the Hudson up at 122nd, it is a beautiful walk down the river in nice weather. We walked from there down the river and then over to broadway and had lunch at Zabar's.

Nice weather? walk around central park

Checkout FAO Schwarz at 5th & 58st

I don't know what they have to see at the World Trade Center site anymore, but that might still be interesting.

Grand Central station is beautiful and usually has street performers of all types which can be fun.

The Times Square Subway station also usually gets a good mix of performers.

Macy's on 34th St. If you like shopping anyway or just looking around. FAO Schwarz is also awesome. Saks Fith Avenue is amazing too. If you are also interested, you can get tickets to tour NBC studios. That's up in Rockefeller Plaza between 49th and 50th st. I believe tickets are only $17 too. I went there and loved it, but it's also a career interest for me.

If you want to have the best pizza go to Grimaldi's (under the Brooklyn Bridge)

also go to Chinatown. That is always so much fun (and great food!)

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I remembered some more free stuff
Jacques Torres Chocolate shop in Brooklyn. Take the train. Walk a couple blocks.

http://www.mrchocolate.com/

He usually has free samples of stuff. In the winter he was giving out cups of hot chocolate (not cocoa), but melted chocolate with spices mixed in.

It is a little shop, but some amazing creations, molds and carvings in chocolate.

It looks like he has a new place in Manhattan.

Walking in Chinatown or Little Italy.

I like to see glass galleries:

I am not sure why no one has mentioned Canal St. Fun, just looking even if you don't buy any of the cheap knock off stuff. Updated On: 4/18/08 at 11:20 AM

Uh it's NYC I am sure you'll find something to do. Just walk around, take the subway to Brooklyn, go to Harlem, go get lost walking around the village trying to follow the grid. So many options.

You can also visit the NBC store while you're there.

You should go to the wax museum if you haven't yet. Lines are usually rediculous though, but we managed to skip the line because my grandmother has a disability.
Try the Museum of Modern Art too. There's a lot of Lichtenstien and Warhol, which I'm really into.

Check out the Museum of th eCity of New York (103rd and Lexington). It's really nice, cheap ($5 with student ID), and they have some great theatre stuff.
