its ok bg2 because Shosh had the same effect on Hairspray fans so it works out...

Ive already seen Shosh as Elphaba and she did a fabulous job. Im hoping to get tickets for her first day.

wheelchair seating is different... ive gotten wheelchair seating the same day of a sold out show.

hun, if you get yourself to ny, ill get you a companion seat. (if they have em, but they should, they usually dont sell out those tix)

Shoshana is unbelievable as Elphaba. And she's the nicest, most generous performer I've met.

She will not only hold it up, she will finally get some wonderful exposure. Totally in awe of that voice. Let's wish her the best.

she'll be fine. shell move into the spotlight, become known, and receive a lot of fans. i hope she doesnt change and stays extremely nice and signs everything.

A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous

Wow, people can be so mean about wicked. like the people in the beginning of this thread. just let people like it without making them feel like crap. some people are so narrow minded. anyway, i heard shoshana singing in godspell, she sounds like shed make a great elphaba! elphaba is such a great female role!

Shoshana sings Wicked's songs with such a smoother, nicer tone than Idina. She will be better.

I think she can hold it up but no one can replace Idina she is a TERRIFIC!! preformer with an AMAZING! voice, sure she can hold it up but ITS NO IDINA!
