Load errors and always crashing on my iPad - any suggestions?

What a coincidence- my husband is an iPhone programmer and is working on an app for fun on the side. I literally just got done telling him I wish I could program so I could help make this app better. It really could use some love.

Don't use the app. I just use Safari and it works well for the most part.

The app was taken OFF the google playstore for about two months (used my phone's browser) since its been back, I haven't had a single issue.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

How old is your iPad? I've been using the iPad Mini 1. I was having a lot of trouble with both Safari and Chrome. BWW was the worst offender, but other ad-heavy sites were bad too. Yesterday I finally went out and bought the 2017 iPad, which is a basic model but much newer than my original mini, and the problem is gone.
