Amanda Peet has replaced Marisa Tomei in the Public Theater production of Neil LaBute's "This is How It Goes". Ms. Peet began rehearsals today and is expected to be on stage by the first preview, which is March 10. The show opens March 27. The rest of the cast-Ben Stiller and Jeffrey Wright-remains intact. No reason for the abrupt withdrawl was given.

Yeah, I've been waiting for her to get a role that she could really sink her teeth into since "Igby Goes Down".

I watched IGBY GOES DOWN again last night. Terrific film, terrific performances and a terrific Peet.

I recently found out that Tomei left for a "family emergency." I believe that her grandmother died.
