Laura will be missing both Saturday performances and Telecharge isn’t even listing any available tickets for Sunday.
They had time to plan a Live From Lincoln Center broadcast for this one, but no go.

All good shows. Actually, I loved MFL and 'The Ferryman'.

I saw and thoroughly enjoyed My Fair Lady, and The Ferryman and Ink were the plays I most regretted not seeing on my spring trip. I would have liked MFL to get a proper taping, but I always doubted it would happen. Has a mostly-replacement cast in a revival been recorded for posterity?

South Pacific, to be accurate, was a live broadcast of one performance given that last week. Alan Alda hosted. This is in contrast with The King and I filmed in London, which was stitched together from three or four performances.
Kelli O’Hara had left the for good over six months ago, replaced by 24 year old Laura Osnes, who had also replaced Kelli during her maternity leave. Sorry, Laura, but Kelli returned for the last two weeks just to appear in the broadcast. Matthew Morrison, original Lt. Cable, was invited but could not leave his hit show Glee!
Laura is a Star in her own right. Higgins and Picking original, No complains about Rosemary Harris. Norbert Leo Butz in the area I believe preparing for a long engagement at 54 Below with Sherie Rene Scott.
Anyone heard about a possible transfer to London?

Anyone go to any of the final shows, as well as Jeremy Pope's last show in Ain't Too Proud?

I loved all three shows that closed today, but ironically I was at the final performance of a much shorter Broadway run: Criss Angel's weeklong Broadway residency. I was expecting cheesy Vegas-style theatrics, but was pleasantly surprised by the cool effects and genuinely mind-blowing tricks on display. Multiple times I thought "How did he do that?" Angel also grew up on Long Island, and genuinely realized what a big deal it was that he was on Broadway, which I don't think was the case with other "In Residence" acts.

Looking through the mountains of congratulatory tweets attending the closing of my My Fair Lady, I was disgusted to find the name of Lauren Ambrose not once. To read the Tweets, My Fair Lady was a personal triumph for Laura Benanti.
A triumph that ran 400 performances less than the thousand performances of South Pacific, which had virtual unknown Laura Osnes in the female lead the last seven months.
I know New York loves its Benanti, with reason. But how about a little justice? Lauren did get the Tony nomination, and her father was dying and then died while she was in the role.

I actually was just pondering this myself. I saw both actresses and loved both interpretations. I am so happy Benanti's dream role came true. It was a triumphant moment in her career. However, my heart aches knowing Ambrose's Eliza may not be seen again. To me, that was a definitive performance of a classic role I thought I had all figured out. She made me see her in a whole new way. I give so much credit to the success of the production to Ms. Ambrose's performance. She is a truly remarkable actress and I will never forget the reaction I had the first time I heard her stunning voice! I sincerely hope she finds her way back to the New York stage when she is ready.

I agree!
The work she did was brilliant and when I remember my love for this glorious production, it will be her performance I remember.
Brava, Lauren!

Lauren Ambrose's Eliza was a revelation. She was simply transcendent and radiant in the role. Easily one of the best and most memorable performances I have ever seen an actor give.

Agreed. I saw her almost a year ago and I still can't stop thinking it. Even the little moments of her performance. When she appeared on that turn table I knew she was going to be a revelation.

I made one polite response to an LCT tweet, about the neglect of Lauren, that in 19 hours received 98 views and one “like.”
I accept my defeat.
