Hulce SAID it was from Anyone Can Whistle.
And yes, it was cool kid. No doubt in my mind. Basically, he talked to Sater at intermission and told him how much SA meant to him and how it changed (maybe it was saved) his life.
Sater was the most broken up on the stage. Very sweet.
The performance itself was good...but nowhere the best I'd seen. I am not fond of the "new class", but enjoyed my evening. I, too, was impressed with how well the fangirls truly behaved. I found Groff's last to be much more "rock star" and emotional.
I cannot vouch for Stage Door as I did not stay. I'm sure it was insane.

My guess is ridiculous, seeing as how after finally exiting the theater, it was very difficult to get to 8th Avenue. The line at the barricades appeared to be about 3 and 4 deep, and the police were directing people to walk in the street. Across the way at the church, people were climbing on the scaffolding to get a better view.

The line spanded 3 buildings: the theatre, the building to its right and then a liitle bit of the building to its left. There were about 50 people out there when I came out( who did not see the show.)
