I've got to give Brenda Braxton credit for being nearly SIXTY and kicking her face.
And Bianca is a brilliant Roxie. I support bringing her back whenever possible.
When is Christina Applegate going to join as Roxie? She'd be perfect.
The clips of Ashlee Simpson didn't look too bad, It would be nice to see her Roxie as well.
How about Paula Abdul as Velma?
I'm sure everyone possible has been suggested and/or considered at this point...

Ashlee and Christina would be/were great.

Posted: 12/31/08 at 7:27pmI love Brenda on the Smokey Joe's Cafe DVD. I've never seen her in Chicago, but it does seem like she's been in the show forever. Terra C. MacLeod seems to have been in and out a lot as well, but I saw her on tour in September 2007 and I thought she was pretty exceptional in the role.

I must say I'm amazed that Brenda hasn't aged AT ALL since they filmed smokey joe's cafe, if only we all could be that lucky.
I'd personally love to have Vicki Lewis come back as Velma. Kate Shindle would be interesting too

I've got to give Brenda Braxton credit for being nearly SIXTY and kicking her face.
Except she doesn't. Braxton's high-kicks are weak, and that's one of the major downfalls of her underwhelming "I Can't Do It Alone."
I caught up with the show again in December and Braxton was the worst I've ever seen her; a lifeless and sloppy performance.
