"Greatest Star was a disaster, as was basically the entire Glee presentation of Funny Girl. I'm to the point where I'm glad she won't be playing it on Broadway."
Her "Don't Rain On My Parade" was a stand out moment for a reason. And this version of "My Man" made me tear up when I watched it for the first time even though it has so little context in the episode. But yeah, "I'm the Greatest Star" was awful. "You Are Woman, I Am Man" just seemed awkward for everyone. I think there's a chance she could do it but the bigger issue is that I don't trust that there will be a creative team who will get it right, especially if Ryan Murphy was signing off on the way they presented Funny Girl that last season of Glee.
