hey everyone
I noticed that Tick,Tick..Boom! will be performed up in Westport, CT, which is not very far at all. I'm thinking of checking it out and I was wondering if anyone has seen it and if they know the music at all?
so, should I go...?
oh yes! I saw a local production last year. I loved it! go go go! (one of my favorite songs is from it actually. Come to Your Senses is SO good!)
thanks guys...that helped..plus I just downloaded the cast recording on iTunes and I'm enjoying it.

Ahhh, I love Wilson Cruz.
I met him here in L.A. over 10 years ago at a Pool Hall (for a charity event). While everyone was going up to him talking about My So Called Life, which I had NEVER seen, I told him I knew him from RENT. He seemed shocked to be regonized from that and gave me a hug. He was in Los Angeles production with Neil Patrick Harris.
Very nice guy... Tick Tick Boom is GREAT! Wilson is amazing in it.
Yeah, I saw Wilson Cruz in the production of Tick, Tick, Boom in LA and thought he was great. Loved the show and hope you enjoy!
They've been rehearsing in one of the studio spaces owned by my spring internship. They sound awesome!

I like Tick, Tick a whole lot, but Raul and Jonathan himself are the only ones that do the part justice for me.
Can anyone tell me how easy (or not) it is to get to Westport from NYC?
well, I'm driving and it seems very easy...exit 13 I think off 95. I can imaging that metro north goes that way too. It's close to the coast, so you don't have to treck deep into Ct.
I should perhaps specify: how easy it is to get to without a car.
VIA METRO NORTH
Take the New Haven Line from Grand Central to the Westport station. Taxis are available at the station.
I took this from their web site. I took that train a few years ago to New Haven and it was easy and cheap..not very long either. hope this helps

Exit 18, not 13, btw. Not a bad drive at all but check traffic conditions if you are using 95 from NYC as rush hours and weekends can get pretty hairy.
What an awesome cast! Pearl Sun was one of the only redeeming parts of HAPPINESS for me...she has a gorgeous voice and will do wonders with "Come to Your Senses!" Cant wait to see this.
Can anyone tell me about how far the theater is from the train station?
i'd love to check this out.
here's a map of the train station and the playhouse. probably have to take a cab.
Thanks. I tried to MapQuest it, but MapQuest didn't seem to like that. You definitely have to take a cab, I'm just trying to figure out how long it would take so I can plan accordingly.
i'm assuming the taxi ride can't be more than 10 minutes away..if that much! Also, I'm sure taxis are very easy to acquire fro the train station...
Joey McIntyre did a pretty good job as Jonathan after Raul left the show.
i've been listening to the soundtrack a lot lately..looking forward to this show...I'll be there for matinée July 1st
