Tick, Tick...BOOM! Performance Rights Cost?

Hey Everyone!

Has anyone produced Tick, Tick...BOOM! lately?

I am putting together a preliminary budget for a producer, and want to include the cost of the rights - but can't seem to find any information online.

I know it depends on the number of seats in the theatre, etc. but I am just looking for a ballpark number.

Not to state the obvious, but have you actually tried contacting MTI? If you explain your situation they may be able to give you a pretty accurate estimate. The agent who worked with my undergrad would often give us estimates on royalties when we would contact her about our theatre management projects (sorry that I can't remember her name, that class was now a good number of years ago).

Fairly certain that MTI reps are assigned via region...but a call would put you into contact with the right person.

You could also just "apply" for the rights/royalties and you'd get the answer via email pretty quickly -- which does NOT obligate you to go forward.
